This is the new copper processing plant at Minera Panamá S.A.

Joint Venture Panama, a consortium formed by Techint Engineering & Construction and SNC-Lavalin, GyM S.A., has been commissioned to work on the detail engineering and supplies for the copper processing plant belonging to Minera Panamá S.A. (MPSA), a subsidiary of the Canadian firm Inmet Mining Corporation.

The work is part of the first phase of the project; if this goes well and MPSA is satisfied with the work the project for the actual construction of the plant will be awarded.

It is very gratifying for Techint to be part of this venture and gain the trust of Inmet through its subsidiary MPSA, rewarding the efforts of its people to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
